There are some unconventional applications that place special demands on chemical seals.
One such specific area is the explosion-proof environment.
CerLaton ATEX-RM chemical enclosures meet the stringent requirements set by the ATEX zone classification
for both electrical and non-electrical components.
The inner and outer casing of the chemical enclosure is made of 1.4301 grade stainless steel,
which provides excellent resistance to chemicals while meeting safety standards.
The electrical fittings are not located in the cab, but 1.5 m away from it,
in a separate external switch cabinet, thus increasing explosion safety.
