SEAT S radial fans
In the 1990s, advances in the production of plastics and, in parallel, in plastics processing technologies, enabled SEAT to develop the fundamentally innovative SEAT family of plastic centrifugal fans. SEAT fans are designed using a computerised process, which makes it possible to achieve extremely favourable aerodynamic properties. The optimum volume flow (m 3/h) – pressure (Pa) – noise (dBA). The characteristic curve of the S-25 fan is shown on the right. The fans are made of glass-fibre polypropylene with excellent mechanical properties and good chemical resistance, which is UV-stabilised and therefore suitable for outdoor use. They are manufactured by injection moulding using the latest plastic processing technology. As a result, gap loss is minimal and air transport efficiency is high. SEAT fans are completely sealed due to the efficient shaft sealing, so that no corrosive media can escape from the fan. Another advantage is that the fan housing can be easily rotated to the desired position. Simplicity is a big advantage both for installation and cleaning.
